Hang The Dead! was formed from the desire to play aggressive acoustic music to those that are carrying baggage and looking to sing along about all the deep dark issues and existential dread we are all carrying. Dead weight, dead love, dead friends, dead dreams and goals. We all bottle up our problems and hide them away until they eat us away from the inside. Hang The Dead! aims to take this dead weight and put it out there for all to sing and scream and feel and heal over in the most cathartic doom folk circle pit you've ever had out of an acoustic punk show. Don't hide your skeletons away in the closet. Hang 'em up and deal with them, if only for a single night of sad sing alongs. The world's gonna burn and we're all gonna die eventually. Don't let it be tonight. Tonight we rage!
