Grapefruit Moon is the brainchild of singer, songwriter and guitarist, Micah Lathrop. Teaming up with his wife Andi, who adds vocals, co-writes and plays drums, they are able to share their creations with people simply, yet with passion and heart.
Grapefruit Moon's approach to songwriting echoes eclectic and honest performers the likes of Tom Waits, Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, Ryan Adams or Bob Dylan; meaning direct melodies joined with personal and poetic lyricism. Together, they have close to 70 original songs under their belt and continue working on songs with unique story lines and creative melodies.
Their charismatic blend of folk, country and southern rock please people of all ages. They feel blessed to have worked with and performed with many excellent musicians all over and continue to tour and write songs as much as possible. Let the music tell you the rest of the story:
