GOT Music Group (G.M.G)

G.O.T Music Group (GMG), was established in 2009 to bring truth through music to reach our generation today. Today, the world is corrupted and it is hard for Christians to live daily against the long lasting battle to conform to the likeness of this world. GMG is proclaiming the name of Jesus and spreading the word of God in Christian rap! Not only are they bringing the word, they are bringing great music to reach those who can't typically follow a sermon easily. K. Thomas, Rayon Thomas, and Thirst, all felt the same about rap and that it was more than music. They got together and formed a powerful group to spread the Gospel.

K.Thomas,  born October 19, 1989, now 24 years old and on a mission to share his story with the world. The neighborhood Thomas grew up in was troubled; yet at home, he was the son of a preacher. At the age of the thirteen, K. Thomas was introduced to Christian Rap. This music instantly became a huge part of his life. In the midst of pressure to conform to the culture that surrounded him, he embraced the truths that his father talked about-The Lord Jesus Christ. Music was a way of expressing himself, and Thomas uses this gift God instilled in him to reach this very generation. Utilizing spoken-word through sermons and speeches, K.THOMAS has reached a countless number of people with his messages. People have been giving their lives to Jesus Christ! He believes that his music career will surpass standards and unify people through the form of rap songs, determination, and strength in Christ. K. Thomas relentlessly preaches the Word of God in a simple and yet detailed way. With God ruling his life, style and image, K. Thomas uses his gifts to glorify God with his music. 

Rayon Thomas has been rapping ever since he was a kid. He was inspired by many people including his savior Jesus and his Brother. Although he never knew really how to rap, he still tried and tried til oneday he would get it. Rayon grew up in the word, his dad is a Pastor at a chruch called Divine Liberty Christian Center. Rayon's Mom and Dad encourage him to work harder and harder on his music. When he gave up sometimes learning how to rap, Rayon's family would encourage him to believe in God knowing he would become better and better. Now everyday since, Rayon has been stedfast on his music never giving up, just believing that God would guide him in his everyday life. The reason for him wanting to write christian rap today, was that he felt that worldy rappers these days are just feeding God's people lies. He wanted to give God's people a true word, a true word that would save their lives from going to hell. Rayon believes that people today are just worrying about sex,money & material things. He wants to show that if you live for God your life would be change instantly. At the age of 20, Rayon wants to give the world a better view and a better look at God's word. He wants to witness to the world and also show how God can chage your life. He believe that worldy music is just leading God's people straight to hell, that's why he is trying his best to fulfill Gods word in this music. 

Durrell Parker "Thirst", is from New Orleans, Louisiana. He grew up as most others and was raised in average traditional values  taught in the Catholic & Baptist churches. From New Orleans, his family moved into a suburb outside of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Gonzales.His high school career was like most others, he was influenced by music & most hiphop culture, in it's "thug" pretense. But a long-time friend Kendrick (K. Thomas) invited him to church at Thibodaux, Louisiana. His simple answer was, "yea". Little did he know that God that night would soon change his life.In the service, in his seat, He says, God spoke to him, and told him to meet at the alter call (Given by a guest Minister). Where after a prophesying of his life, he found God, and Glory shown appeared to him and encountered the Power of God. God gave him a second chance to live right, saved and a committed life to God, and he's been "on fire" ever since.He later started his rap career with K. Thomas CEO of God Ordained Truth Music Group along with artist Rayon Thomas, strong brothers  who continuously guided & discipled him along with the teaching taught at Devine Liberty Christian Center Church Ministries by Pastor Trent Thomas Sr. & First Lady Mrs. Debra Thomas, the lead Pastor & First Lady of "The Devine", continues to nurish Durrell "Thirst" with  encouragement, empowerment of The Word and hope for better.
