Claiming the noted review of “Maui’s Most Versatile Band”, Kanoa Kukaua, founding
member of Gomega started the group in 2001 with the vision of bringing different genres
of music together. As the group name implies, Gomega or “Go Big”, the philosophy is
about “Going Big” with music and other passions in life. Gomega is about taking fearless
risks in music and creating a versatile signature sound with the acknowledgement of
gratitude, humility, freedom, and the healing power of music. Over the years, Gomega
has welcomed a variety of members, each being very talented on stage and behind the
scenes. Most recently, the members and range of Gomega’s music has evolved into a
cohesive, progressive sound that appeals to a diverse audience.
