Funkin' A is a 6-piece original horn driven band which grew out of the Patchogue, NY / South Shore Long Island music scene. Having performed all around New York State over the past 7 years, Funkin' A brings a sound which is at once classic and original. Inspired heavily by 70s Funk as well as the Jam Band music of the 90s and 2000s, Funkin' A delivers a synthesis of styles which defies simple categorization.
