FLOVVERS

Hello there!  Trebor Kershaw, Mason Sears, Olivia Liston, and Grant Ostermeyer pretty much makes up the band FLOVVERS. They are a smooth Alternative band bringing ear warming sounds all the way from Columbus, Ohio. They pick up influences from various artists such as: Coldplay, Alvvays, The Talking Heads, Florence + The Machine, Peach Pit, and Rex Orange County just to name a few. The boys have known each other for a pretty long time. Grant, the guitarist, has know Trebor, the drummer, since they were both very little. Both of them started skateboarding with Mason, the bassist, in middle school. Now, Olivia or Liv, the singer and pianist, and Grant have gone to school together since elementary school. FLOVVERS formed in late November of 2017 all thanks to direct messaging and the struggles of junior year. With that being said, they are a really young band figuratively and literally. Liv, Grant, and Mason are all going into their senior year of high school while Trebor will be attending his sophomore year at The University of Cincinnati. Last winter, they participated in a battle of the bands presented by Groove U and just fell short of the podium in fourth. Considering they have only been a band for two months, that is pretty good. Then, in the summer they went on a little June tour around the Columbus and Cleveland areas and played three shows. The first one being at Kafe Kerouac with Local Warming and Suitcase Runaway. Then the next day they hiked it up to Lakewood and opened for Suitcase Runaway (again) and Spirit of the Bear. Finally, they ended up at Columbus' very own Used Kids Records with The Roof Dogs and The District Lightbulbs. These were all killer shows and the band's fans seemed to have had an awesome time. To close, FLOVVERS is currently has two singles on bandcamp called "Impulse" and "Circles" and are working on releasing a full debut album. They have their own "home studio" that they are recording in because they are broke. See you all soon!
