"Fitzkee Brothers Celebrate New Single Release"

The Fitzkee Brothers will release their new breakout single, "Give You All My Love," on Friday, Oct. 20, and then celebrate their achievement with fans, friends and family at a new-release party from 7 to 11 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 21, at Fast Eddie's in Ocean City, Md.

"Give You All My Love" was written by Alex Fitzkee and recorded at 38 North Studio in Falls Church, Va. Produced by Jim Ebert, and mixed by Jeff Juliano at The Shed in Harbeson, it is a hard-hitting rock anthem delving into the complexities of love, portraying the uncertainty and angst that come with offering one's heart, yet ultimately celebrating love's triumph. With its driving bassline, infectious melody and intense chorus, this track is a high-energy jam perfect for dancing, workouts, sports, road trips or simply hanging out with friends by the beach or lake. Fans of Marcus King, Black Keys, Jimi Hendrix and Foo Fighters will find themselves right at home with the Fitzkee Brothers' sound.

Hailing from coastal Delaware, 16-year-old Alex and 18-year-old Drew have already made waves in the music scene, earning praise from none other than Post Malone, who dubbed them "the mini Allman Brothers." They've also shared the stage with rock legends like Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, Oteil Burbridge and the Dickinson brothers, Luther and Cody. The Fitzkee Brothers are on the verge of a breakthrough with their powerful new single.

Next month, the Brothers will again join forces with Melody Trucks, daughter of the original Allman Brothers Band drummer Butch Trucks, and cousin to Derek (Tedeschi Trucks) and Duane (Widespread Panic). They'll be playing four electrifying performances in as many days. During the first two performances they will be joined by amazing guitarist Joe Marcinek. Specific dates and venues are Thursday, Nov. 9, Melody Trucks and The Fitzkee Brothers at The 8x10, Baltimore Md., with special guest Joe Marcinek; Friday, Nov. 10, Melody Trucks and The Fitzkee Brothers at The Room at Cedar Grove, Lewes, with special guest Joe Marcinek; Saturday, Nov. 11, Melody Trucks and The Fitzkee Brothers at The Liberty Tavern, Woodlyn, Pa.; and Sunday, Nov. 12, Melody Trucks and The Fitzkee Brothers at Phantom Power, Millersville, Pa.

Next, the Brothers will team up with Otto Grundman and Nick French of RoastJohn Saturday, Nov. 18, in Rehoboth Beach for a local performance to kick off the Schellville winter concert series.

Earlier this year, Alex was welcomed into the Collision Drumsticks family out of the UK as an endorsed artist. Alex and Drew are thankful to be sponsored by Paul Kares, Go Coastal and Arena’s Restaurant. As 2023 is winding down, the Brothers are getting amped up with their newfound collaboration and friendship with Otto Grundman and Nick French of the Berlin, Md.-based jam band RoastJohn. They recently took the collaboration public, playing four shows in Maryland and Delaware. The foursome is gathering steam as they roll toward the new year with a renewed sense of purpose to perform, travel and spread their version of high-energy original jam band rock and roll to fans far and wide.

In 2024, the Fitzkee Brothers will embark on an exciting journey with a series of tours, collaborations and new recordings. They are looking forward to their summer Road to Roots 2024 tour that will begin in mid-July in the Southeast and extend through the second week in August with the last stop at The Bitter End in NYC. Stay tuned to the Brothers' social media channels for an inside look at their musical odyssey. "Give You All My Love" is just the beginning of the next chapter of the Fitzkee Brothers' remarkable musical journey. Follow their progress at fitzkeebrothersmusic.com. - Cape Gazette

"An Interview with The Fitzkee Brothers"

An Interview With The Fitzkee Brothers

An upcoming release from The Fitzkee Brothers brings out a wonderfully woven and edgy classic rock-influenced soundscape that brings with it a hard-hitting but heavily melodic tonality that becomes quickly infectious.

When you first start listening to "Give You All My Love", you pick up on the harder aspects of it with heavier distortion and this sort of surf rock thrash feel that it delivers right from the get-go.

Once the vocals take place you start really getting the vibe that this was influenced by something a little bit more old-school.

The way the vocals are performed is done with such a great lush harmony that it gives everything a brighter approach without even trying.

So, you have these hard rocking guitars and these sorts of bright and melodic vocals, and those two textures come together extremely well in this situation which I don't really think is an easy thing to do but for The Fitzkee Brothers, it seems like it's perfectly natural.

The more you venture into the song the more you realize how classic rock this thing actually is.

Breaking into killer guitar solos and a bridge past that, this song ends up feeling alive and breathing, and that energy that's portrayed on the recording of the song is outstanding as well.

You almost get the feeling that this was recorded live on the floor simply because of the fact that it seems as if the players are feeding off of each other the entire time.

Even if that's incorrect and it wasn't recorded live on the floor, it definitely makes you want to go see these guys live in your face just to be able to see that energy in that live setting.

I think this is one of the biggest and most addictive attributes to this track.

This thing is packed with character and energy that's completely unstoppable and by the end of the song you want to just jump around your living room and sing along.

It's been quite some time since I've heard a rock banger of this sort because of the way it's delivered with such a sort of heart and soul that comes through colorful and authentic.

This is the kind of track that you want to hear on a vinyl record just because it makes sense in the back of your mind.

That classic rock aesthetic is truly there through all of the heavier distortions which is as refreshing as it is fun.

On top of that, you can clearly tell that these guys have a true love for their craft and have probably been doing it since they were kids.

With the release of such a driving rock single on the 20th of October, we wanted to have a sit-down with The Fitzkee Brothers to find out where this track actually came from and what might be coming up next for them.

Here's what went down.

Buzz Slayers: Okay, let's start with "Give You All My Love"! This track had a massive tone but stuck to a classic rock feel and approach! How did this release come about?

Alex: We have written a number of songs over the last few years. We have played many originals at live performances during that time. “Give You All My Love” was the song that stuck out as the single.

Buzz Slayers: How did this all start for you as an artist?

Drew: Alex and I have always had a keen interested music. We started playing at a young age and have developed into a tight rhythm section over the years. We played in several bands, which eventually evolved into the “Fitzkee Brothers” where we have had a unique opportunity to play with a number of talented singers and musicians on guitar, keyboards and auxiliary percussion.

Buzz Slayers: What kind of things really inspire songs for you?

Alex: major emotions, and life events

Buzz Slayers: This single has some great approaches to it! Can you give us some of your biggest influences musically?

Alex: Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, and Foo Fighters

Buzz Slayers: What are you doing when you're NOT working on music?

Drew: I’m studying music via a distance learning program from a music academy in New York. I’m also working on getting in better physical shape, hitting the gym daily.

Alex: I’m a junior in high school where I’m studying jazz and percussion.

Buzz Slayers: Who's in your headphones right now?

Alex: Blue Sky, Eat a Peach, Allman Brothers Band

Drew: The Call Of Ktulu, S&M with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Metallica and SFSO

Buzz Slayers: Are you doing any live performances right now?

Drew: Our band Fitzkee Brothers has an upcoming mini tour with Melody Trucks (daughter of Allman Brothers band drummer, Butch Trucks and Cousin to Derek and Duane) November 9-12. The first gig of the tour will be our debut performance at the historic 8 x 10 club in Baltimore Maryland.

Buzz Slayers: Do you record these at a big studio, or do you have a home studio set-up?

Alex: The recording was made at 38 N. Studios located in Falls Church Virginia. It was produced by Jim Ebert and mixed by Jeff Juliano.

Buzz Slayers: What can your fans expect from you in the near future?

Alex: We are headed back to the studio next month to record another single entitled “Lakesong”.

Buzz Slayers: Before we go, what would you like to say to fans of the music?

Drew: We are grateful for all of the love and support we received on our musical journey. We are extraordinarily excited about our new collaboration with the jam band “Roast John” out of Berlin, Maryland. - Buzzslayers

Bio

"Fitzkee Brothers" is a group of two brothers who are amazing singers, songwriters and musicians. Post Malone called them, "The mini f-cking Allman Brothers". Nicknamed the "Thump Brothers" for their tight & funky rhythm section, they have been amazing audiences with their killer live performances ever since December of 2018 when they took the stage at their first full band rock show at Dogfish Head Brewing & Eats in Rehoboth Beach, DE. They never looked back, playing their style of high-energy jam band rock & roll almost constantly before intimate and large audiences in DE, MD, VA, PA, MS, OH, & NY. The group recently finished a tour of the northeast United States with Melody Trucks, daughter of famed Allman Brothers Band drummer, Butch Trucks and cousin to Derek and Duane. The Brothers have had the privilege to play with many great musicians including Post Malone, Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, Justin Guip, Oteil Burbridge, Robert Randolph, Vaylor and Melody Trucks, Luther and Cody Dickinson, Eliot Lewis, Paul Cullen, Robbie LaBlanc, Bruce Katz, Jamie Mclean, Jonathon Sloane, Grace Bowers and Tony Sciuto. Their sound has matured and evolved over the years from an "in your face" punk rock to a soulful, funky brand of rock & roll. Their newest release "Give You All My Love" was recorded at 38 North Studios, and produced by Jim Ebert who described the musical group as "Foo Fighters meets Allman Brothers". Mixed by Jeff Juliano at The Shed. We hope you love it!
