Fiinesse is a Jersey based producer and affiliate of the Mvck Tribe. A few months ago he launched a side project under the name V A N E C K where he’s starting digging into more of his own vocal work, accompanied by self produced rhythms which range from hazy hip hop to rapidfire club. His latest release is the Belmont Drive EP, and one of the standouts from its 11 track pack is the bouncy club heater, “B.O.B” (big ol’ juicy booty). It’s pure, classic jersey fire, and his solid vocal play meshes perfectly with his dark and hyper instrumental. I’m seein’ sweaty warehouse vibes when I hear this one. One of dance music's biggest stories of the past year has been the triumphant rise of Jersey club music. Although for much of its existence, the sound was the underdog of the east coast club scene, Jersey's been coming up large thanks to acts like DJ Sliink, Nadus and UNiiQU3, and we captured the whole tale in our Sub.Culture: Jersey Club series.

Last week, the whole crew mobbed down south to Austin, Texas to perform a slew of gigs at SXSW. We embedded Sub.Culture videographer Chantel Simpson to get an intimate look at the group of friends at the core of the current Jersey sound as they realized their dreams while turning the absolute fuck up. When you hear “Jersey Shore”, you think thousands fist pumping, people partying and enjoying life. Not Vaneck. Fist pumping wasn’t on his mind coming up on his side of the shore. In 1994, Vaneck was born in Freehold, NJ but grow up in Lakewood, NJ. With Lakewood being known to breed great athletes like J.R. Smith, they also hoard other talented individuals such as Vaneck. Continuing to make an impact in both the underground and mainstream world, the rapper is also a producer/DJ, who goes by “Fiinesse”. He is one of the pioneers of a popular growing genre in E.D.M known as Jersey Club. Vaneck looks to remain humble and continue to inspire to create and achieve any goal or dream possible.

Vaneck has just resurfaced with his new single “B.O.B.” “I’m bringing booty bounce back. B.O.B is for the ladies to come to the club and have fun. Everyone sees jersey club solely because of the dance routines. I generally just want people to come to the club to have fun not to line step”

Vaneck released his self-produced single "Mvck" featuring another Central Jersey sensation Spank Mack who also reps the Jersey Shore.
