Local Band Wins Several Awards at the 2012 New Hampshire Country Music Association Competition.
The Eric Grant Band, New England-Based New Country Favorite has “Done It All Again” winning Band of the Year and more.
Epsom, New Hampshire, September 19th, 2012: It was an action packed weekend for the members of the Eric Grant Band as they traveled straight from a show in Bangor, ME to the New Hampshire Country Music Association Annual Award Show at the Circle 9 Ranch in Epsom this past Sunday, September 16th.
The Gilford based band brought home top honors in four categories: Song of the Year for EGB original “Take off your Coat”, CD of the Year for their newly released “Country As It Gets” album, and Vocal Group of the Year. However, the largest EGB screams filled the room when the band members and support team heard the words “Eric Grant Band” as NHCMA President Jimmy Woods announced the 2012 Band of the Year winner.
The band took home this same title back in 2010 along with Vocal Group of the Year and New Country Male Vocalist of the Year. They went on to compete at the national level in Pigeon Forge, TN in March 2011 where they hung on to their titles. - Krista Marrs

The Gilford, New Hampshire based Eric Grant Band has taken the country music scene by storm playing in front of thousands of fans in northern New England since their inception in 2009. They have been featured as a supporting act for national headliners such as Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Trace Adkins, Toby Keith, Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, Craig Campbell, Randy Houser, Keith Anderson, Lonestar, Sugarland, Zac Brown Band and Jo Dee Messina.
The band has soared to success in the past 3 years, as theyve opened for several headlining acts, won the national title for New Country Band of the Year and Best Vocal Group of the Year, released their first CD, have three songs in rotation on the local country radio station, acquired national recognition after winning the Southwest Airlines "Calling All Musicians" contest and most recently completed production on their first full length CD in Nashville with some of the best in the industry.
