His poetic style and rolling wordplay takes a common feeling and turns it into an idea of complexity from his perspective. He wrote, recorded, & mixed the track on the same day to which he states, – “I hope people can relate to it. Indie Hip-hop artist Elias Orman will release his new single before the end of 2018. The Nashville native confirmed to Music N Soul that “Blue Bird” will out on Dec. 28.
He titled the track “Blue Bird” because it’s a symbol of hope and future happiness. The song contains hints of his past and his struggle with drug addiction.
Through simple yet substantially deep lyrics, a beautiful piano melody, and a soothing rhythm, Elias is writing his redemption and glimpse of his new life. “I hope people take this song as an example of self-redemption and that it’s possible to transcend any unbearable present that you might be in.”
The chorus part expresses enviousness of a bird’s existence in that it doesnt seem to be aware of any emotional states. But at the end of the song, in a metaphorical and literal sense, the bird sings his song for him because the manifestation of the song all started with the bluebird. - Music N Soul

My name is Elias Orman. I'm a rapper/producer from the Greater Nashville area of Tennessee. I've been creating music professionally for about three years now although its always been a dream of mine to pursue. I am heavily jazz and hip-hop influenced. Artists such as Mac Miller, Earl Sweatshirt, TDE, Mick Jenkins, Saba, and many more have had a massive impact on my music. I ultimately create music for my self. It is an outlet to relieve pressure, a means to get my ideas out to the public, an avid tool for self reflection, my preservation, and my intimate connection with the world. But the music is not only for myself. It is for others to interpret and to pull useful information out of. If I can change the way at least one person feels or thinks for the better then I am successful. I want my music to carry the message of hope, personal responsibility, self love, wonder, and the fact that you are not alone. My music is vulnerable, its all-too-human, and it is a glimpse into my mind and my emotions from an original space. I create music to perform it. I want to instill the same feelings that I got when I saw my favorite artists live. I invite my audience to leave their worries elsewhere and to embark on a journey through my performances with me. Music is not just something I love to do anymore, it has become my life.
