In 1999, DEUCE smashed onto the Pennsylvania music scene as a duo featuring Jim Oakum on Acoustic/ Electric Guitar, Vocals, and Bill Adams on Bass, Keyboards & Vocals. What started as a part-time once in awhile musical hobby, quickly turned into a popular, highly in demand professional group playing all over Pennsylvania. As the band progressed and continued to play shows, the DEUCE duo wanted to expand into a full band, which is what they eventually did around 2002, becoming a four piece band and playing this way for many years. The band went through various lineup changes through the years while always keeping the partnership of Jim & Bill intact. DEUCE now consists of 5 members featuring female vocalist powerhouse Andrea Aslan! DEUCE continues to be a mainstay on the Pennsylvania music scene, drawing great crowds @ many venues in & out of their area as well as performing 16 straight years at Knoebels Amusement Resort.
