Hello,
My Names Derek Cramer and I'm based in Ohio. I have been in the music scene since 2004, playing gigs all over the Indiana, Ohio & Michigan. I started out musically playing piano at the age of 3....( my mother was a piano teacher.) Then moving on to Highschool band and brass instruments. I then graduated to a bass guitar, and electric guitar. My first band was while I was still in highschool. We needed a drummer so I decided to learn how to play the drums....which would then take over my life for the next 10 years of my life. I still played guitar while learning the drums, but I was in multiple bands as a drummer until around 2015 when I set off on my own to do my own solo adventure.
The love of looping started out as more of a practice tool but grew into so much more. I seen how big of a sound you could get with just one person and decided this was my calling. I played out live with the looping show for 3 years until my second child was born..... and then I took a break for a while to be there for my daughter. I have since been posting videos to Facebook and You tube trying to build some kind of name for myself. I then found the love of the recording studio. That has been my primary love here lately. I bounce between the solo looping and studio work .... shoting videos for both. I am very interested in beginning to play out again. The love of music grows in us everyday... let it out for the world to hear.
