Day Underscore, a 23 yr old Chicagoland native has become one of the most astonishing yet underrated musicians in the industry today. Despite the violence that plagues the inner city of Chicago, Mr. Underscore has maintained a positive outlook on life while providing a positive escape for his listeners. Day began writing songs at the early age of 7 and producing music by the age of 12. Day posses a keen sense of taking personal experiences and transforming them through the art of music. Days transformation of emotions take all listeners on a journey that electrifies the senses. Day’s artistry behind the mic is fused with a blend of profound artist such as Ne-yo, Bruno Mars and Kanye West his astounding performance is that of Michael Jackson, Usher, and Miguel. The foundation of the “Day Underscore” sound consists of mult-genre fusion bonded with mainstream Hip-Hop, Pop, Alternative, R&B, Tribal, and Symphonic music. His production is influenced by producers such as Will I Am, Timbaland and Kanye West. His song writing has the potential to contend with some of the greats whom he is also influenced by such as Stevie Wonder, Ryan Tedder, Diane Warren, and The Dream.
