Bio
Formed in 2007 under the name To Rise We Fall, then renamed Dawn of End in 2012, the band has seen their fair share of ups and downs in the local metal scene. But as dedicated musicians, they have refused to slow down, no matter the obstacle. In so doing, they have outlasted a majority of the bands they have shared stages with over the years, with no signs of intent to stop. Drawing from a wide array of musicial influences, they have shaped their sound over the years that emulate a variety of metal subgenres within their songwriting, making it all the easier to fit into many different shows with many different sounding bands. Having shared the stage with countless notable national bands and renowned local acts such as Soulfly, Unearth, Vital Remains, Cannabis Corpse, Dead by Wednesday, Hail the Horns (featuring Marc Rizzo, Tony Campos and Christian "Opus" Lawrence), Marc Rizzo (Ill Nino, ex-Soulfly), Lumen, Incite, Eminent, Begat the Nephilim, Arrival of Autumn, Monochromatic Black, Living Wreckage (featuring members of Anthrax, Shadows Fall, Let Us Prey and Downpour), Carnivora, Thy Enemy, Scarlett O'Hara, Across the Whitewater Tower, Rick Rozz (ex-Death, ex-Massacre, Mantas) and many others, Dawn of End have established themselves relatively well in the heavy metal scene. On June 19th, 2021, they released their second full length album, "An Optimistic Dark", and are currently writing new material for an EP they hope to release within the next year or so.
