Chris Mullineaux And Space Machine

Chris Mullineaux And Space Machine is a funk/new-wave/space-pop collective based in NEPA. The band members are all local musicians from other projects, that come together to make a dance-groove rhythm that shakes the room. Featuring melodic original songs, with lyrics based on love and truth, the Space Machine also delves into some great funk/soul classics, taking them into spectral insturmental jams that fall into the acid jazz world. Their inaugural performance, the band captured the audience and held them above the clouds, with one attendee saying "It's like Bowie, Sly Stone, Jimi Hendrix and Radiohead started a band. This may the best show I've ever seen. Period." While kind words like those are appreciated, and taken humbly, Space Machine doesn't like to rest on their laurels, and are constantly striving to push the envelope to find new ways to groove and create their spacey soundscapes, and invite you to come and experience one of the most exciting bands to spring up in NEPA in a very long time.
