Chase B

Chase B can be described as one of the most highly anticipated recording artist in East Texas. He is not a generic rapper, he is a lyricist. Chase B began writing at the tender age of 15. At the age of 19, Chase B joined forces with his childhood friend, Andre “XcluZive” Herndon, and found success with the release of his first studio single. Chase B states that he has always had the “Hustler Mentality”. One of his fondest memories of his hustling strategy can be traced back to when he was in middle school. He recalls making necklaces out of plastic beads and a fishing line and distributing them to his peers. This new found hustler within him brought about a profit of $30-$50 per week. He also found a market for breeding and raising ADBA registered pit bulls and this returned a profit as well. Chase B graduated in 2006 from Kilgore High School as a Texas Scholar. After completing high school, he attended and graduated with an associate’s degree from Kilgore College. He continued his education by seeking his bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He managed to completed his degree and he majoring in TV/Radio Communications. However after graduating, he found himself with minimal money for studio time to follow his dreams. It was at this point that he decided to engage in student work part time at Stephen F. Austin University (physical plant). After completing student work, he began to work at a local barbeque restaurant (Mike’s Bar B Q in Nacogdoches, TX) while continuing his education as a full time student at Stephen F. Austin University. Chase B decided to move back to his hometown to focus on what he loves, music. This relocation allowed him to have more studio time to pursue his dream. In March 2012, Chase B debuted his freshman project entitled “MVR” (Most Valuable Rookie). His freshman album had collaborations with Texas legend E.S.G from The Screwed Up Click (S.U.C). Chase B will be the next biggest Hip Hop Veteran in the game. He has mass appeal and is not afraid of using his artistic ability to cross music genres. He is a breath of fresh air to the music industry with his mainstream appeal, witty lyrics and determination; he is the perfect recipe for success!
