Born on April 6th, 1984 at Laguardia Hosptial in
Flushing, NY to the parents Jose & Aralis Sanchez. Anthony Sanchez aka Cap
City was born with the talent to write and make music in the Hip Hop genre.
Anthony attended Beach Channel High School and dropped out at the age 17 and
obtained his GED. Anthony obtained employment at 16yrs working McDonald and
shortly after security and some odd jobs to help his families financial
situation. Anthony always had the dream and passion to become a rap artist and
by his potential he began to chase his dream. Things started not working out at
home and his security job was not bringing the income to stabilize promotions,
distribution, and production for his Rap career. Anthony left home at 18yrs old
and quit his security job to begin a life of grinding in the streets of
Farocaway, Queens. Anthony grouped up with his family and friends and started
his own Record label Punchline Records. From here Anthony Rap career started to
unfold slowly but surely from making three well known mix tapes and working
with well recognized New York City artist like Max B former member of The
Diplomats and Uncle murda . Anthony passion for his dream is what keeps him
grinding and producing hot street bangers. Anthonys performed at numerous clubs
in the Tri State area including club Don Hill, The Pyramid, karma lounge, the
Knitting factory, club t-ny and at Webster Hall where he attended all the
showcases for local artist. The first mixtape Money Worth was hosted by
celebrity DJ Superstar Jay and sold over 5,000 copies in the streets alone the
first month. From there Anthonys fire was fueled and he started producing his
second mixtape Obstacle Course which is on the streets now with the hit single
Obstacle Course featuring Max B. Anthony had the opportunity to meet the Hip
Hop superstar 50 cent at a book signing in Manhattan where Anthony slipped him
a mixtape and $1,000 cash, saying Time is Money. The mixtape was acknowledged
by 50 cent camp and he received positive feedback. From there Anthony has kept
his record label stabled and is still grinding to release his new mixtape late
2012. Cap City song Been Getting Money has been on WordStarHipHop this year
2015 and got over 10,000 views. Cap City is currently networking and producing
more tracks with mainstream artist to be released in 2019.
