Bury the Doubt

Josh Layton and Cade Peterson are from a small town called Newkirk, Oklahoma. One day, in an attempt to win over a girl, Josh wrote her a song on the ukulele. When he asked Cade for some help with the beats, they realized that they really were on to something. Through this they formed a band named "River Parade." Josh and Cade then changed the name of the band to "Bury the Doubt," thinking that this described more of what they were going for in their music. Their goal was to make songs that people could relate to, because living in such a cruel world isn't very easy. A kind of way to say "Your not alone out there, others feel the same way." So they took Josh's love song, added a little edge, and changed a few lyrics. The end result was "Running from the World." Josh hoped this song would show people that everyone feels alone, and that if you help someone to not feel alone, they will return the favor. Josh and Cade have recently released "Love Hate and Other Sins," an album telling the tale of the hard times of love and the sins that come with it. They are currently working on a new album called "The Tale of Two Tragedies" based on the depressive consequences of the previous album. Josh and Cade made the previous album "Love Hate and Other Sins" by themselves, and on a very tight budget. With Shahannah Wilkie, Mathew Colsen, and Drayton Oldfield, having joined the band since then, they hope to raise money and put all their heart into "The Tale Of Two Tragedies."
