Burn the Batteau faithfully embodies the defining characteristics of East Coast Blues, with a strength and power exclusive to the modern electric power trio. The band's influences include Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, BB King and Buddy Guy. From acoustic delta blues lamentations with weeping harmonica riffs and night-club-esque grooves with horn sections and Hammond organ, to defining electric guitar work, Burn the Batteau seeks to ignite all the bases.
