Bio
Brian "Buck" Ellard was born in a small town. His dad was a laborer and his mom was a homemaker. He started playing music on the violin at 11 years of age. Just about the same time his little brother, Jeff, started calling him "Buck" and never stopped.
Buck joined his first "real" band, at the age of 15, playing fiddle in a 3 piece bluegrass band. Once he had played on stage and got a taste of the energy that feeds back from the crowd, Buck was hooked and has been playing professionally ever since.
Buck has been in over 100 bands over the years, from garage bands, belting out rock and roll, to full on touring bands, touring throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe. He has been in bands that opened for the legendary Hank Thompson, Hank III, David Allan Coe, Wayne (the train) Hancock and many others. He has performed in shows onstage with Grammy Award winning, steel guitar master, Doug Jernigan, Banjo wizard, Danny Barnes, Bill Bledsoe, Wayne Hancock, Bob Wayne and the list goes on.
Buck started working more on vocals and guitar to be able to bring a bit more of his own musical stylings to the listener.
Buck is an accomplished songwriter, performing his originals along with cover tunes for his solo show, for which he is currently booking a tour.
Buck's show is a pleasant walk down memory lane with some brand new side streets along the way!
Buck's show is a must see!
