“They performed for our shoppers at the Tanger Outlets Myrtle Beach Hwy 501 Memorial Day Weekend Block Party while shoppers shopped, played games, honored their heroes in chalk art, and more! The band was a great addition to our party! The band played a wide variety of music. They played a fantastic extended version of Hendrix’ ‘Little Wing.’ It’s a very hard song to play, and they did a very good cover of it! They also did a great cover of Jefferson Airplane’s ‘White Rabbit.’ The band also has several great original songs locals and vacationers can appreciate. If you’re looking for quality entertainment, I highly recommend Blue Rhoads. This is a very talented group of local musicians and singers with a wide range of songs. Bio
We are a husband and wife singer/songwriting team, Tommy and Wanda Rhoads. We play many cover songs from the drifters to today’s blues rock nationally known artists, but we add our touch to the music making it somewhat unique. Wanda sings the lead and plays the keys to add a nice touch to the music as well as the bass line when needed. Tommy plays lead guitar and sings some lead vocals too. The band also includes many original songs that have been enjoyed from Little River, to Murrells Inlet, S.C. area.
We have over 50 songs ready to accommodate most venues and we are always adding new songs covers, as well as originals that everyone one will enjoy.
