Big Sky Quartet is an award-winning folk/roots band from Central Pennsylvania that has been creating and performing original music together for over fifteen years. Named Best Trio (2019) and Best Folk Band (2021) by the Central PA Music Awards, the band is known and loved for its joyful melodies, glowing three part harmonies, and uplifting live performances. Big Sky Quartet was also awarded Best Album in 2021 for their latest release, Red Fire Rising, featuring original songs written by Sarah Fiore and produced and engineered by Jason Whetstone. Other career highlights include: opening act for the Wood Brothers at Bethlehem Musikfest in 2021, playing at the Virtual Emerging Artist Showcase for the renowned Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and being fan-voted to return in 2022 to perform at the in-person festival, and being selected for a Formal Showcase at the Northeastern Regional Folk Alliance (NERFA) Conference. Big Sky Quartet is led by Sarah Fiore, who was named Best Female Artist in 2022 by the Central PA Music Awards, and also was a finalist for the Rocky Mountain Songwriting Contest in June 2023 for her latest release 'Lonesome Sparrow'. Traveling the East Coast and playing small and big stages, Big Sky Quartet connects with diverse audiences wherever they perform–and they bring a whole lot of love and uplift to their crowds.
