Originality style charisma swagger are a few things that can be used to define Bags Bomaye born Tevin Peterson on June 23rd 1992 and is a only child born in now closed Saint Mary's hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y. Hailing from the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn home of the great artist such as Biggie Smalls Jay-z and Fabolous moved to a small town named Watervliet ,N.Y. at the age of 10  Bags has been writing on and off at the age of 9 it all started in his fourth grade class when a kid came in to class and shared his rap among the classmates since that day he always had a interest in music especially when his parents every Saturday morning used to play albums from such artist as Mary J. Blige Alicia Keys Lauren Hill Biggie Smalls Jay-Z Tupac & DMX just to name a few as Bags was growing up he ventured off in to other things such as baseball foot ball skateboarding also fashion but never had a true commitment to none of those hobbies so they didn't last too long but music was always there for him it didn't matter what emotion he had at that time whether happy sad angry silly music always made it better for him after Bags graduated high school he went to a community college and was working a McDonalds job he already had since his junior year of high school him and his co-workers used to freestyle all the time it was at the point managers use to scream at them one day somebody told him to starting writing again and ever since then he's been writing and recording song which he found a serious passion for bags layed his first track ever over a wale instrumental until that day he had no experience recording at all as time progressed he got better and better with recording Bags is still fairly new to making music with two mixtapes out that a few people enjoyed Bags cites his Favorite artist Dipset Jay-Z Wale Dom Kennedy Nipsey Hussle Drake Pusha T Rick Ross Fabolous and Vado which inspire him alot to do better as far as the music world goes What makes Bags a good artist is his variety ranging from topics to style which makes him a force to be reckoned with because he lived in a rough neighborhood and still goes over there he can relate to people struggling but he can also relate to people living in middle class suburban areas which give him alot to talk about as far as love romance struggles hood things facing fears and party's Bags embodies the regular guy from New York not just New York City but the state as whole living in NYC and upstate N.Y. a regular guy working a 9-5 trying to survive and make all his goals come into fruition
