
Michael Braunfeld picked up his first electric guitar at the age of 13 and quickly became proficient in rock n’ roll and blues played through overdriven amplifiers. Growing up around the Philadelphia Folksong Society and Philadelphia Folk Festival, he was exposed to musicians of all kinds with one thing in common … acoustic instruments. “There’s just something so pure about an acoustic guitar,” Michael says. “No matter what, I always find myself going back to it, even for the heavier stuff.
