Anthony Ortiz

Anthony Ortiz is a singer and songwriter signed to SoulLaSol Records.  Anthony was born in Saint Petersburg, FL, grew up in San Jose, CA, and currently resides in Wesley Chapel, FL. Anthony began to pursue his music career at the age of 15, when he temporarily lost his skateboard as punishment. With the need to quickly replace his skateboard, Anthony began to play cover songs, and creative mash-ups in front of local stores to earn money. While making money to purchase another skateboard, Anthony realized that his love of music was much more than a passion.

By the age of 16, Anthony found himself competing on Univision’s La Banda Season 1, which was filmed on Miami’s South Beach. By the age of 17, Anthony was signed as a new artist to the SoulLaSol Record Label.

At the age of 18, Anthony was a fully featured artist, for one of 2SC’s singles from the Master Builder Album. Anthony collaborated with 2SC as singer and songwriter to create the single titled “That Feeling”. The single dropped on various music platforms such as iTunes, amazon music, YouTube, and SoundCloud. Soon after its release a music video and dance remix of “That Feeling” followed. With the single and music video increasing in popularity, “That Feeling” is being played on local and internet radio stations such as Orlando’s Hot95.9 , and Evolution 93.3

Since the release of “That Feeling” Anthony has performed at a variety of venues such as the Hard Rock Café, the Tampa Bay Flavor Run, and District 3. Anthony is currently working on putting out another single and creating his first EP with SoulLaSol Records.
