Carlos Mendoza, also known as his stage name, Ambrosso, and one half of the DJ duo $yn City, is leading the evolution of electronic music with a fully charged vision and purpose. By combining modern sound design techniques used in a variety of tempos with his sophisticated musicality, Ambrosso continues to bridge the gap between the heavy bass-driven sounds of today and the familiarity of the classical.
Originally from Cupertino, California, Ambrosso decided to take his music career to the next level by joining Icon Collective's electronic music production program in 2018. Since then, he has honed his craft and skills through collaborations, projects, and the right mentorship. He's now able to produce music in any professional setting with complete ease and counts with the support from artists such as LUMBERJVCK, Des McMahon, and up and coming producer, HEXED.
In whatever medium Ambrosso works in, music is his passion and social impact is his sincere intention. Bringing joy to the world with his sounds and providing an escape from our daily stressful routines through his live shows give Ambrosso the drive to continue working on his craft providing him with a purpose in life.
