"Bucketlist Radio"

You cannot deny how well these guys write some hooky, catchy, fun stuff... Reminiscent of Green Day - Jesse Gainer

"Bucketlist Music Reviews"

HOLY FUCKING SHIT ARE THEY CATCHY!... will have you rethinking anything you’ve ever created as a musician. Simple, effective, and absolutely slaying... with enough force to give you splinters on your soul.
(Also Best Reviewed Album of the Week 3-13-17) - Aaron Deck

"WCWP Tonight With Tom and Mike"

(Plaidypuss is) a great record. Arguably... the best thing to come out since Green Day's "American Idiot" - Tom Spartinos

"The Titus Jennings Experience"

The Album is Really Rather Fine - Titus Jennings

Bio

Amber Lamps is a 3-piece rock band from Astoria, Queens, New York. Influenced by punk rock legends from Descendents to Green Day and Blink 182, their sound is a unique brand of pop-punk.

Amber Lamps has evolved from a one-off cover band into their current incarnation, with guitarist/singer Brian Greene, bassist/singer Eddie James, and drummer Steve Roscigno - three musicians from different musical backgrounds, brought together by their love of punk rock.

Their debut album, Plaidypuss, was written over the course of seven years, during a period of major transition in their lives. The album explores the fun in desperately chasing your dreams (“Eddie’s Basement”), the journey from adolescence to maturity (“Discretion,” “Between the Lines”), and the untimely circumstances that force adulthood upon you when you least expect it (“James,” “Adrenaline”).

Plaidypuss combines the high energy of an Amber Lamps live performance with a high production value. Despite some heavy subject matter, the overall message of the album is positive, with an emphasis on strong, radio-friendly lyrics and memorable hooks. Every song has a story behind it and within it, and many are infused with the humor in the absurdities of being a young adult today.

Above all, Plaidypuss is a fun record about searching for the good in everything, and coming to terms with adulthood as a state of being, not a state of mind.
