Bio
Alfi hails from the Northern part of New Jersey and is an active member of the music community. A Berklee College of Music Alumn, Alfi has gotten a taste of every bit of the music business having worked in music publishing, production, radio broadcasting, film scoring and performing.
What always peaked his interests, though, was the art and joy of writing and performing songs people can have a connection with. After graduating college in 2012, Alfi had performed and collaborated with a number of bands and artists including his own project, Dynamite Orchestra, which he fronted between in 2014 - 2016. The band released two EP's and developed a strong live presence putting on colorful, lively and animated shows. While writing and performing with Dynamite Orchestra, Alfi had been slowly adding to his personal collection of songs, which he has been waiting to release on his own. He began to develop a songwriting style that is characterized as "raw", "provocative", "personal" and "eclectic".
Apart from his music, Alfi recently started up his own music school program, "Alfi's School of Music". There, he teaches group theory classes and private lessons for all ages. The school began in 2016 and is located in North Bergen, New Jersey. While being asked about it, he has said, "My dream is to develop a creative safe-space for aspiring and established artists who want to discover all the avenues music has to offer and gain constructive criticism. It's a place where the local music community can come together and keep creating".
Right now, Alfi is working with a talented team of writers and creatives to put out a four track debut EP soon titled Far Gone. Follow him to see where he is playing next!
