I wholeheartedly recommend Adam Musick for your establishment. As a restaurant owner I’ve had the pleasure of watching Adam grow as a musician and a person. We established our business in March of 2019 and came across Adam a few months later ...his first weekend playing for us showed us how talented he truly is and how he is the perfect fit for our restaurant.
In May of 2019, Adam became our main source of entertainment, playing for us on Friday evenings, and every Saturday and Sunday from the beginning of season (April/May) until the beginning of November each year. Adam has effectively led the way, with admirable maturity and an all-inclusive approach to his set that creates an energetic fun group experience in his performances each week.
Adam takes the time during his performances to interact with his audience, his attention to their needs is amazing, remembering customer’s names, laughing and going out of his way to accommodate everyone. Adam is without question one of the finest musicians I haveencountered in my career. While he is indeed a fine musician, he also possesses more rare qualities like a passion for music, a sense of humor, integrity, and drive that will guarantee his
success in his future ventures.

It is with great pleasure that I write a letter of recommendation for Adam Musick. Adam has been a regular musician for the Banner Elk Cafe for over two years. In this time, Adam has developed a strong following. Every week the numbers grow and our customers love him! Adam is great at reading the audience and adapting his music to fit the crowds. We have groups upward of 20-40 people that plan to meet here every week for a night of entertainment. They spend the night here eating, dancing and drinking and this gets all the other diners doing the same. We have several reviews that mention him playing and what a great experience they had dining and listening to his music. If you want a crowd pleaser and just about the easiest and talented musician to work with, he’s your guy! Another great thing tlat Adam does that hardly any of the other musicians do is help me with social media posts. He will send me his post to send out on all my social media outlets every week! I wish everyone could be that proactive and professional. Not only that but sometimes I have to tell him take a break, if the crowd is popping he will not stop playing. Adam is the “One Man Band” – A single individual with a full band sound, playing the guitar with his hands, percussion with his feet, and singing with his heart and soul! Adam is perfect for small venues with limited space, but also for venues looking for a full band sound. He uses no pre-recorded backing tracks or special effects. The sound is completely live and authentic. Adam’s repertoire contains the variety of music that satisfies the easy listening dinner crowd, but expands to include rock, soul and Motown from the Golden Era of American and British Music of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s that will get patrons involved in an afternoon or evening of good times with friends and family. Adam’s passion is to share music with people and to use his gifts as a performer to provide the establishment’s clientele a most memorable experience that will enable the owner of the venue to grow repeat customers, or any event planner to ensure their guests have experienced the most fabulous musical entertainment available.
